PerformX® 3
In this our first bulletin for 2006 we are delighted to announce a significant upgrade to PerformX®.  Version 3 provides significant new functionality that enables authors to simply develop in Word and automatically publish interactive documentation!

Transit  7
HTML Transit version 7 was released late last year with enhanced support for the latest Office versions and Windows operating systems.

PerformX® and Transit
Implemented together PerformX® and HTML Transit provide a complete, end-to-end, self-serve documentation publishing solution.  Document authors simply drag and drop documents in a nominated network directory to publish high quality online documentation themselves!

First Time?
If this is the  first time you have received our bulletin then we hope you find it relevant and informative.  We aim to canvass issues of interest to corporate Website and Intranet professionals.

PerformX® Version 3  is a major upgrade.  We have added significant new features and made a range of enhancements.

New Features
The most outstanding new features are those that address the development of interactive content.  These allow PerformX® to be extended from policy and procedures to the development of Learning documentation.

• Question Wizard allows authors to develop question and answer content in Word which, when published, presents the user with interactive true/false and multiple choice questions.

• Summary Blocks present the user with only a heading or a summary of information.  By clicking on the 'twisty' the detail expands.  This approach enhances readability and reduces scrolling; users access only the information they need, when they need it.

Enhancements
Enhancements have been made in the following areas:
